The Rip Curl School of Surf; designed for excellence and always searching for the ultimate experience. From its opening in 1998 on the Seminyak beach, The Rip Curl School of Surf quickly gained the reputation as the finest surf school in Bali, twenty-five years later and having taught more than 700,000 visitors to Surfing, Wing Surfing, Kite Surfing, Foil, and Stand-Up Paddle Board.

The Rip Curl School of Surf operates from several locations with permanent bases in Sanur, Legian and Kuta. Sanur is our east coast club found inside the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel Bali, the Sanur base is the perfect spot to access the flat-water lagoon and rolling reef waves of Sanur for our Surf, Kite, Wing, Foil, SUP, and diving activities. The Sanur Club is also where our reef and tow boat trips depart for the surrounding waves out of paddle’s reach, like Hyatt Reef, Baby Reef, light house, Oka Point, and Serangan island. On the opposite coast in Legian & Kuta; surf lesson of every level, Little Rippers and privates are held daily from the Legian beach location in front of the Zanzibar Restaurant. Our Kuta school is found inside the Mamaka by Ovolo on the Jalan Pantai Kuta; perfectly located just past the Beach Walk Mall next to the public skate park. With full facilities the Rip Curl School of Surf at the Mamaka provides a classroom, student lockers, hot showers and full resort facilities.
