We were a small group of 5 and that made this downhill ride even more pleasant. And no matter how fit you are the ride is well organized and convenient for all body types (and we all walked up those couple of climbs). Wayan the guide took a good care of us throughout the tour, due to a breakdown one bike was replaced on the way (we were accompanied by a truck with spare bikes). On the way we stopped at a home compound in a village and we were explained how they live. Finally, we were served a tasty lunch at Bali Breze Tours premises. The extra was a dance performed by local girl dancers ... so sweet .
We had a great bike tour with guide Stone. Bike where ok , we cycled through rice field , we saw how rice is made and Stone told us lot of interesting balinese traditions about temple and religion . Breakfast and lunch where good and enough ! Kindness and happiness everywhere! It worth absurdly the money ( around 15 euros ! ) Thanks Stone I will recommend you as a guide ! Patty from Italy
We had an amazing downhill cycling tour! Right from the pickup, to the visit to the coffee plant and the downhill cycling, it was a great experience. The bikes are in good condition. The ride is long , but only a small stretch is tiring. The views in the route are superb. We even had a 50 year old lady in our group and she managed to keep up with us. The lunch at the end is also quite delicious. Must do activity in Bali!
We had the most fantastic day! We were picked up from our villa and on the drive we stopped off a at the rice terraces and a coffee plantations for a gorgeous tasting and tour! Continued to drive to Batur where we were given a delicious breakfast with a view of the volcano. The bikes felt very new and sturdy and the overall tour was amazing! A few tough hills but mostly downhill giving us plenty of time to soak in the views. Our guide Stone was so informative and a great entertainer for our group. The day finished with a delicious lunch and then dropped back at our villa! 10/10
Fantastic trip with 'Stone'and his team. Really well organized and managed. Awesome scenery, informative, great food and beautiful dancers to entertain at the end of an adventurous day. We would definitely do this tour again and would absolutely recommend it to our friends. Thank you again Bali Breeze tours for the wonderful memories 💕
We did the Downhill Cycling Tour and it was great, but I'll start with a few suggestions. The quotes 400,000 IDR for one adult from Ubud, but the travel agency said she could get sell it to us for 350,000. But at our hotel they sold it to us for 250,000. I'm not sure how the pricing works, so definitely shop around. It was for the exact same tour with the exact same company. "Breakfast" was served after 11:00 and it was a small omelette or small pancake. Definitely eat a good breakfast before you go. Lunch was served at 2:30 at the end of the trip. It's buffet style and vegan friendly (including both tofu and tempe). We got one small bottle of water at the start of the bike trip, and no other water or fruit along the way, as the brochure states, so bring extra water. The trip to the rice terraces is just a short, but beautiful, stop along the side of the highway for a quick picture, and the coffee plantation is also a short visit with taste tests of sugary beverages. The bike supplied were mountain bikes with front suspension and really hard seats! You are basically coasting all the way down the mountain. The ride is not strenuous, but it's also not overly comfortable. The guide stops along the way to give information about the town, a temple, and rice production. Our guide was friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. There are only two big hills to ride up, which are so steep that everyone has to walk. If you are unable to walk, they can take you in the van. It was a fun trip, and yes I was sore at the end. I recommend it if you are keen to cycle.
