I came to Nusa Penida alone and joined the manta point trip here because they reply the messages quickly so that I can confirm my travel plan earlier. all staff is friendly and professional. When marine life appears, Hazel will inform everyone to make sure people notice it, I saw mantas and sea turtles! Ray and a pretty girl(sorry, I don't know her name) are very supportive as well! It was a great trip!

I spend almost 3 weeks to complete the funniest, intense and craziest Instructor course ever! I had the chance to do it with Kirill :) and I had 2 others unforgettable buddies ( Lin and Vera). We start as colleague and we finished the course as a family ! Thank you for everything ! Location: The set up at Freedive Nusa is just perfect. Open rooms, clean equipments, swimming pool. The location is excellent for all the lazy person like me, just across the road from the sea (less than 1min). Hotel and restaurant: nearby (in 4 minutes you are at Penida Colada the best spot ever to eat and read your course) Course: Instructor extremely professional and knowledgeable about Freediving. Theory and practice are done in a logical manner. The teaching ambiance is just Unique ! Bonus: After each Open-water session, you have the chance to end the session with time to dive on the house reef which is just magical. I see 2 turtle and incredible marine life there. The color are beautiful. BONUS2: They organize TRIPS around Bali at Raj Ampat, Komodo and more ! Can’t wait to meet you again
Two weeks ago my husband and I participated on a SSI Freedive Level I course. We joined the course quite spontaneous and were a bit nervous and very excited as we had not known much about Freediving before. In those two days we learned so much about Freediving in general, ourselves (body and mind), breathe and swim techniques as well as rescuing. Arthur, our main instructor, was a really nice guy explaining everything very clear and understandable by providing many helpful examples. The theory was absolutely interesting with him and sufficient enough to prepare us for our first dives without tank. In the water we dove with Arthur, Kirill (owner of the school) and Heiko and all of them were really nice and took great care of us. We never felt any pressure or fear under water. They all made sure that we enjoyed our 2 days and that we could feel very proud of us at the end of the course. We can highly recommend this school with its experienced dive instructors, the right balance between theory and practice and security and fun.
Best freediving experience I've ever had! Kirill and his team was very patient in teaching the fundamentals of freediving to our group. They took their time to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable during our sessions out in the water. Would definitely recommend the Level 1 freediving course to anyone wanting to learn and develop a skill that you can use when you're out in the ocean next!
We rented fins and a buoy here for a very reasonable price. The snorkeling/free diving at the the house reef on this part of there island is excellent. But go with caution if you go workout a guide as the current can get very strong. We also did a manta trip. Our guide was excellent though I felt they could have used a second guide as he was pretty overloaded with 12 people. All went smoothly though! We managed to see one manta only so the ocean didn't gift us more. But it was certainly a very big one. Probably 5m wing span.
Kirill and Yana organised a beautiful space for freedivers of all levels. It's always a pleasure to dive with them. They have all the equipment you need. Also it's perfect place to try freediving for a first time. You will be in professional hands and 100% safe. Guys at Freedive Nusa take safety very seriously, so you can really relax and concentrate on your practice. Thank you Kirill, Yana and Heiku for your hospitality and for an amazing time at Nusa Penida! We will be back soon! :)
