If you're trying to pick between the various surf schools in Bali, here's a tip: Many of the options out teach you some basics, and then let you do your own thing for the rest of the time. Surf Bali Adventure / Koyo on the other hand is a genuine, attentive and overall awesome coach. I felt like he had our best interest in mind and he adapted his coaching depending on our skill level too. Even his buddy, Eggy, who assisted us was a solid coach. Both of them would give us meaningful feedback for each wave we rode, this made a big difference! Whether you're a complete beginner, or just trying to up your surfing level, I highly recommend going with Koyo out of the various surf schools out there :). Thanks Koyo! See you again 😁
Had a great time with Koyo and the team for a 3 day surf adventure! He was very knowledgable and was able to put us on some great waves when we were with him. He was always on time and was a great communicator. Things were well planned and communicated which is great when visiting from another country. If you are coming out to Bali to surf, he is going to be your best option!
10/10 experience ! Koyo and his team are genuine teacher, choosing the right spots/beachs based on water conditions,organizing all transfers at your convenience, theory classes and even high quality water videos/photos and help you quickly improve within one class. Would highly recommend to anyone beginner or intermediate

Had a beginner lesson with Koyo and he is such a good coach. He explains the surf theory in English very well. He also taught me how to read wave and video my footage with GoPro to analyze my problem. All his teaching is so on point and he is super friendly. Loved the experience! Thanks Koyo!
Koyo is a great guide, took me to his uncrowded home break. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced surfers looking to get away from the crowds
