I tried 3 different surf instructors on Bali and Arya was the best by far. Arya makes you feel very safe, constantly cheering and giving tips throughout the class. Great experience! For the beginner’s class I would definitely recommend booking a 1:1 class to get the full attention.
Arya is the best surf coach I ever had in canggu. He also can speak 5 languages. 7 if speaking to girls.
Definitely a must if you are in Canggu and are curious about surfing! It was my first time surfing, and although I was initially nervous the instructors helped me to feel at home right away. Their instructions were also thorough and they shared lots of helpful tips. I’d recommend booking for the morning when the beach is less crowded. A 1.5 hour session will run you about 350,000 rupiahs and you’ll get one-on-one instruction. Have fun!!
